The Wanted’s token shorn hottie, Max George, is no longer engaged. He and Michelle Kegan were planning a wedding, but have been rumored to have split for months. Max tried to clear things up on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, but it came across as though they split. Not so.
Ryan asked about Max’s engagement point blank. He responded with: “No, no, no, not anymore.” The interview was the cut off due to technical issues and fans were left wondering if George was now single. A rep issued a statement explaining that the boy bander and Kegan were still together, just no longer engaged.
“Michelle and Max are still very much together as a couple but they are both traditionalists and realised that there is no point in being engaged until they are in a position to plan a wedding.”
Max also took to Twitter to clear up the engagement issue.
Hey everyone, so just to clear up any rumours, me and Shell are still very much together, just there is no wedding. The call got cut off….
And made it sound much worse.
